In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O you who believe! The fast was written on you as it was written on those before you that you may fear.
The month of Ramadan in which the Qur’an was revealed (a guidance), a state of guidance from misguidance (to people and evidence), clear verses (from the guidance), which leads to the truth from the rulings (and) from (Al-Furqan), which differentiates between truth and falsehood (whoever has witnessed) will attend (from you the month, so let him fast) He who is sick or on several days of travel) has likewise presented and repeated so as not to fancy copying it with a generalization of the one who witnessed (God wants ease with you and does not want hardship for you). By mitigating and stressing (iddah), i.e. several fasting Ramadan (and you will grow up with God) upon completion (for what guided you) I guide you to the features of his religion (and you may thank) God for that.
